All roads lead to...

My first blip!
Now the sharp-eyed among you will have noticed that this is not an image from the fabled Himalayan utopia alluded to in the title of my journal.
It is in fact a back lane in Darlo, where you have to lock your bins.
But 'Snapshots from Shangri-La' is not an ironic title, and all being well
fabulous scenes from the roof of the world will be appearing soon on these very pages (subject to various possible constraints!)
I feel happy and excited to be embarking on this project...onwards through the fog!
