St Mary's Portchester

I visited mum this morning. This afternoon I took a walk in the grounds of Portchester Castle. This Norman church, in a corner of the Castle's grounds, was built in the 1120s using Isle of Wight Stone. It is a beautiful little church and I have attended weddings and christenings there in the past. It is a delightful setting for such occasions.
