That time

About a week ago I remarked on how little activity there was in the Xmas tree plantations. Then there was a car with French number plates parked around the place for a couple of days. Then a van with Polish number plates arrived with a squad of workers with coloured sticks and labels. Most trees have been tagged for possible harvest.
This will be the last season before Brexit - with a Polish workforce and a French market, it makes sense to shift as many as possible. Just daft.
