T'other side

A lazy start as we forgot to book a breakfast time, but worked well as we all needed the sleep.

The weather was quite different today, low cloud, much colder and very still. So we decided on a low wander, but one that still has a massive wow factor - a loop of Wast Water, out along the screes and back along the lane and the shore. It worked well as we saw not a solitary soul as we boulder hopped across the screes and, we stayed dry as we watched the rain push up the other side of the valley.
A lovely slow lunch at Wasdale Head, and then full waterproofs to amble back.
The rain was never heavy, but it was persistent.
