Silly Saturday ...

... Plainfield Rail Trail .... closed!

We had to do some shopping this morning and then we went up to the Plainfield Rail Trial.  We were surprised to see that the section we normally walk was closed temporarily.  Apparently it's taken the rail trail authorities almost two years to fix the washout that happened in early November 2018.  It's actually gotten much worse over the past two years so I'm glad to see that it's being fixed. 

We like to live dangerously (and I wanted to see how the repairs were going!) so we ignored the sign and walked down to the washout area. And we weren't the only ones .... there were other walkers and some cyclists on this section of the trail also.
