What wood you do?

Just before the WEATHER this weekend we had a delivery of logs for our wood-burner. 

These logs show the inside of the tree and the bark on the outside, In addition, they are currently outside, will be inside and then the smoke that they make will go outside along with the ash which will go in the compost bin outside. All in all a great hokey- cokey event all on its own!! 

I have tried to keep the colour for one of the logs as I saw a fellow blipper do something similar the other day. The edges are not as tidy as I would like but am pleased to have succeeded in the overall effect.
