Sign of the Times

H had a new eye  prescription so had to make a private appointment days ahead with Camille at our favorite glasses shop.   Same red glasses tho!   (extra…crazy Camille has her covid hairstyle…she's "too busy to take time for herself..".)

Across the street where we parked was this clothing store window with this sign “We’ve filled our store with things that look fabulous on zoom calls”!!   (one for the new Seattle Covid FALL album)  Not sure about those jeans (they probably won’t show on zoom) but it looked like some lovely sweaters….but I don’t shop anyway.   And the car is ready to leave!  I think you can appreciate a nice fall day.  Busy over there on Sunday.  Wonder how they are doing…128 small businesses have been forced to quit in downtown Seattle, including some that have been there forever.   This isn’t all because of Covid..it’s also the protests which continue.    Some of the restaurants are going back to take out only.   A disaster all around.  Can it recover?
