Waving Goodbye

The sweet peas are still flowering. I picked a few today, and the scent in the house seems stronger than ever. I wonder if it gets more concentrated as the blooms get smaller. 

I don't think they'll last much longer, the first frosts will be here soon.

Another quiet day, but blessedly warm and sunny. I'm planting up bowls of winter flowering stuff, with a few tulips and daffodils tucked in for some extra colour in the spring. We live in hope ...
