MACMILLAN

I feel so sorry for charities through this pandemic. Today is usually the Macmillan coffee morning. Our parish church had planned one. Then suggested we do our own at home with friends. Then Boris announced the rule of 6...so I planned 3 groups of 6 through the day in the garden but due to the rain The Rev said NO!!!! Actually 18 people in my house was not a good plan.
So 1 friend came for coffee and took some cakes to a friend. Then a neighbour came in and in the evening 2 friends came and we had cheese and wine (and cakes). We also played a table top version of curling. Very amusing.....and £44 off to the charity.
