A small (in stature) sunflower that the birds planted started later than this one but is now in full bloom - whereas this giant one is striving mightily to open in time to catch the last of the sun's rays.

Had to pick a load of green tomatoes (since the plants have shrivelled) - shall have to dig out some recipes.
