To lunch....
...at The Pitt with R, P and family. It's little C's turn to be blipped, rather than wee J. She's a serious child, here very intent on dressing her doll. Apparently, she will assist her big brother in getting dressed if she gets a chance. And he's not so wee. He's just been bought a new pair of wellies in size 1 - i.e. at the bottom end of the "proper" adult sizes. He also no longer fits children's sizes of bike helmets.
After lunch, Mr A came home, and I went with R and P to the play park in Victoria Park, which was thronging with families. We had an eventful time, as R had to find (urgent) toilet facilities for wee J, and little C had an encounter between her chin and someone else's foot, which led to a split lip. But none of that came before they enjoyed quite a lot of time of the playpark apparatus. I was particularly impressed by little C's enjoyment of the slide. I think she was tired by the time she was being bundled back into the car to go home.
Gosh...the energy required by small kids!
