Speckled Wood

Not many butterfleis about now and so this Speckled Wood was a bit of a bonus.
We almost put the finishing touches to our terraces befroe the bumper harvest of chestnuts that is about to arrive.
And then no to redoing a job I've been putting off for ages - re-lining an old (huge) door with plasterboard. One of those horrible jobs where there is nothing solid to attach things to but in the end hopefully we have a better more weather-tight and more rodent-proof solution than hitherto. 
Yesaterday I'd started by taping up the edges and by this morning a neat rodent-sized hole had already been gnawn in the tape....
