Little Grebe Chick

The only surviving Little Grebe chick at Reddish Vale Country Park.
It's now the same size as it's parents, but doesn't have the red colouring yet. Still being fed by the parents, but has learnt how to dive. I'm sure it will survive.
The local photographers told me that, after three nests being destroyed by other wildlife, they had three eggs in the fourth. Two chicks hatched, but one disappeared.
