Dawn on the oak

This handsome oak tree grows outside our house. When I opened the storm door this morning the autumn sun was shining on its leaves making them look even more russet than they already are. It's a chilly morning with mist on the river and field beyond the oak but it was the tree that caught my eye.

No early walk for Flora as we are off to Glasgow for a socially distanced walk this morning. Probably in Pollok Park. I'm sure lots of people will be out enjoying the beautiful autumn weather but it's a big space and we will be fine. But we can't visit a house so it won't be a day long trip.

I think the weather is set to turn so wherever you are I hope you can make the most of a sunny Sunday.
