We are now on Summertime

We turned our clocks forward one hour last night. This coincided with a forcast severe weather event that hit the country over night with heavy rain and strong winds. It didn't last long and by mid day the sun was out and the wind had dropped so we were able to go for a walk. The inclement weather hasn't finished with us yet as the forecast says there is more to come over the next few days. It is still quite warm but the next blast is coming from the south and the temperatures will drop. Parts of the South Island have had it far rougher than we have had.
