Off road adventure

A splendid bike ride today, well described by my local friends; a MTB circuit of the flanks of Ben Wyvis. It was 46 miles, much of it on forestry and estate tracks - some smooth, some not so. Rising to over 400m at the high point. It was glorious. For hours I saw no one and kept stopping to listen to the sounds of silence, water lapping on lake shores or streams over rocks. As you can see from the montages I took too many pictures and had difficulty choosing so have tried to give you the impression of the day instead.
