Camping day

Up and out this morning to buy me some warmer sleep solution after a too chilly night last night. Google advised the nearing camping shop was a mere 5 minute drive away. Turned out it was a shop in a whole beautiful piece of the world also including fields, woods, a lake, kennel and a cattery. We asked if they had any jobs or houses for sale, no they said but next year we are planning to set up a campsite down there by that lake. That’s next years adventure sorted. The shop sold many beautiful camping things, the lady presented me with a bright yellow sleeping bag. It’s like she saw me coming.

The next plan was to walk to the swimming place on the river but given that it was now 11am we decided we had completely run out of time for such an expidition, opened the champagne and set about with the chit chat. At some point we melted all the cheese for a fondue.

And now I’m all ensconced in my Yellow Bag of Warmth. Top day.
