At last!

Our Curate was ordained Deacon this afternoon. It had been postponed due to COVID and we began to wonder if it would happen. The Cathedral organised the weekend brilliantly, conducting 11 different ordination services over three days to ensure social distancing for the 11 priests and 25 deacons being ordained. Each candidate could only have 4 guests plus their training incumbent. 

It was a privilege to be able to share in the service and represent our parish. It was different but extremely well managed and it made it a very intimate service. Of course, masks only came off for the length of time it took to take the photo!
