Beginning of autumn

Taken on our daily walk with the phone set on ‘noir’.  

We woke late with no inclination of getting up.  I had to renew my French consular card online and Ro helped me to  get online and update everything, and it’s all in French!! He has acquired a smattering over the years!   Little things like putting Uk instead of Royaume Uni held us up!! Anyway it’s all done !

B popped round for an exchange of goods and it was great seeing her even if only for a few minutes.  Lunch then off we went for our walk.  

Later the girls came round to do another treasure hunt!  This time kinder eggs as the prize.  Then they played football with their parents while we watched from behind our table.  They were really sweet in their Liverpool kits with red tutus! This grand parenting as a spectator sport is just not all it’s cracked up to be!  Ah well, the girls enjoyed it.  It was bitterly cold.
