Justified

Sometimes, things turn out to be just as rubbish as you predicted. 

When the Parish Council were first presented with the design proposal for one of the new developments' play areas in the village we sat back and went, 'wow that sucks.' The development was refused for many reasons and yet won at appeal (as usual), and the build went ahead.

Today on our walk around the village I was moved to notice how rubbish this section of the 'play area' is, and went back to the original planning application to find the proposal for comparison. I don't think they even managed the low level of provision they promised.

No names, no pack drill, as they say, and of course all my words are made in a personal capacity, and other parts of the play area are better than this... but I've been doing this long enough now, I'm pretty immune to despair.

Anyone want some firewood? ;-)
