Sycamore Woes

A steady run this morning. Still blustery but not as wet as yesterday. Saw the consequences of the high winds at the castle. With still a good canopy of leaves the weight proved too much. Clearly remedial work was needed yesterday and the path was closed off. This is the tree in happier times Last Autumn. Good job no one was sat on the seat! The pile of wood has reduced a little as people have already siphoned off some of the wood for their wood burners.

Home after a dog walk this afternoon and the fire lit!
