Swiss Chocolate and the Choco Trek

You might well ask what a 'choco treck is! In former years, it was called Chocolate Rally. It happens once a year in Lausanne.  Finally, it's all about a big chocolate tasting session all over town and it goes from down near the lake right up to a 'chocolaterie' above my own neighbourhood.

We started yesterday in the afternoon in the rain and wind and managed to taste five different chocolates out of nine to visit!  Today, we did the other four and it was all very interesting and delicious and we walked a very great deal up and down the hills of the city!

The weather was colder today, but there was a bit more sun. When we left home it was 9C and now it's 11C and not expected to rise any higher!

In extras, you can see a collage of the different kinds of chocolate, the very smart packaging, two chocolates to taste in a dish, sunflowers in the big Saturday market and the blue sky, when we had it!
