Looking back ...and 2000 blips

So many derelict old croft houses.
Imagining the lives lived there and the way they were built.
Still so very beautiful especially in the sunlight almost like a memorial to the generations who lived there.
It seems that this is my 2000th blip .
Lots of memories of these islands scattered through my journal - holidays and work .
Each of the days spent here over the years have brought me to a peaceful silence that is difficult to describe - so grateful for the beauty of these wild places.
