New paint on shed

I say shed but it is actually a medieval privy at the side of the Court House. Nice colour. 

The day began early with an 8am Q&A for the Cannes Series Festival with me, Neil in New Zealand and Russell Tovey and a journalist from France.  Very exciting to be accepted into the festival with its glittering opening gala....oh wait, no,  it’s a video link to the show and this Q&A. I tried to dress up a little while thinking of people watching at home on their computers and so not wanting to look ridiculous.  So just a nice silk shirt and some red lipstick.  Still looked a bit bonkers at 8am.  Neil texted me about 10 mins before saying ‘Can I smoke?’  I replied “What because they’re French? No!”

This house buying malarkey is SO stressful. I’m never moving again mind you I said that last time 21 years ago. Doesn’t get any easier.  Who knew you had to insure the house from the point of exchange of contracts? We didn’t.
