Just Hit The Spot Perfectly

It felt like a non stop day today as I was up and out first thing to drop my car into the garage for a service and back to meet my friend K for a 9am breakfast date. She had some vouchers to spend at a local equestrian shop and I felt it would be rude not to go with her (!). I was actually very restrained and only bought a halter and a spare face mask.

I headed home for a quick chance to sort out some washing and the chickens, hence the garden mushroom shot, before heading back to collect my car and to go straight to the yard.

I had a physio coming to see China. Luckily, this time because it was recommended by the vet, it should be covered by my insurance. She was generally really pleased with him, just a little concerned that some work that Mel did with him this week whilst I was isolating, was stepping up the work level too quickly and she has recommended really keeping it steady staying in walk for as long as possible. She’s also given me homework of exercises and stretches to do with him regularly as she said he was still favouring his back leg from the memory of it being sore.

By the time I got home at just before 7pm, I was pretty shattered and really cold. We don’t often get a take away but tonight we decided to. Our local Italian restaurant started a full menu takeaway during lockdown and has continued to do so, so a big bowl of spinach and ricotta cannelloni just hit the spot perfectly.
