Postcard from the Garden City.. Christchurch

I had a wonderful day out with blipper, Flying. First we visited the Botanic Gardens then look a short walk around the city. In this collage all the shots where taken in Victoria Square. As we were making our way home the winds picked up. Otherwise it was a really lovely day to be out and about. Very enjoyable company and day... thank you Flying.

We are expecting gale force winds overnight and for tomorrow followed by a cold front which will bring snow to many areas in the south. Some reports are saying it could be the worst storm in over 20 year.
