Spinach

Came up in a neat row after an extensive rain yesterday. When I wanted to take the picture in the evening, especially for my friend dfb, I noticed that some birds had already eaten quite a bit of it.
One cannot be protective enough....

The day was dedicated to a gynecologist visit in Eugene, a 65 miles drive from our home. When I arrived, he had been called to a delivery and wouldn’t be back that day. So that was a long drive for nothing. Too bad that there are so little places to stop along the route. There were some quite photogenic views.
