Cromford Mills

Left York and made our way to Matlock.  It was chucking it down when we got to Cromford so we  had  a pretty good lunch in the Greyhound.

Later we wandered down to the mills.  This is the site of Sir Richard Arkwrite's first mill complex. 


It rang distant memories from O level history but was well worth the visit.
