Paused Shielding - Day 56

Bit of a bum shot I know, but another personal record I wanted to make of the strange times in which we’re living. Explanation as follows...

This is the lane I take to go to the dentist (this morning’s exciting outing!). Workmen are repairing the wall on the far side of the lane and have fenced off 3/4 of the width of the lane all the way up the hill. When I arrived at this point of my walk this morning, there was an elderly couple making their way very slowly down the lane, so, doing the right thing in these times of social distancing, I waited at the bottom for them. I was soon joined by this couple and their dogs, and we must’ve all stood there waiting for nearly 5mins while the couple dawdled their way down, stopping every couple of steps for a chat. Fortunately I was early for my appointment so still made it to the dentist on time.

A day of blue skies and bright sunshine, but blowing a northerly hoolie which made it feel much colder than the 12 degrees it was.
