Asparagus Again

I am not a morning person; Mike is. He went out this morning and came back with two asparagus spears from by our gate, and then rushed back out to find more, triumphantly coming back with this handful, which I then cooked with garlic, olive oil, chorizo, oregano, red peppers and eggs, for lunch.

Cleaning up and packing to leave tomorrow for a weekend with some Catholic couples, including Cecílio and Ermelinda, should be interesting.

Gratefuls:
- sunshine to charge our batteries
- which meant I could wash and also dry our bedding
- booking my ticket to Manchester for the 1st October
