Tunnel

I love our village's avenue of plane trees, but I have to admit Tournissan's is not too shabby either. Ours is a kilometre long; this one is even longer, and straighter. Here's another tunnel view, taken later in the year and in better weather conditions. Let's hope these beautiful trees are not affected by the fungal disease munching its way along the Canal du Midi.

It has been very windy today, and we had some heavy rain overnight. Mystère is appalled. As we take him to Spain every winter, he's forgotten what cold weather is like, and so have we. Will we get there this winter? All bets are off, so we'd better knuckle down and get used to it. S has gone off to Sainte Victoire in Provence for the weekend, where the weather looks a bit better.

Remember those peppers I blipped on Wednesday? This is probably where they came from :( I didn't buy any.
