The Birthday Boy.

It's my eldest brother's 80th birthday today, (blipper pilipo) so I thought it would be appropriate to put a photo of us together when we were young. 
Back to the drama which is ongoing here. When they guy turned up yesterday to install our smart meters  he found a fault with our electricity fuse box. We had to phone British Gas for an engineer to come & check it out and Western Energy to check out the power to the house. The power to the house was okay, but  the gas engineer diagnosed the problem  as the secondary fuse box had been wrongly wired to the main fuse box. We had to have another engineer out this morning to disconnect the secondary box which means we can't use the oven. The fault has apparently been in the property since we moved here about 35 years ago. We had to phone our energy supplier to arrange for an isolation switch to be fitted so that we can have a bigger circuit board fitted by an electrical technician. I'm trying to look on the bright side as it could be much worse, but I think it's going to an expensive job.
