2020 Thursday — Morning Walk

Our morning walk started about 9:55. We walked north to the tide pools, which would have been fine, but several times Mr. Fun let go of Mitzi’s leash and told her to run to me.

Once she runs to me, she’s tired and our walk gets a little difficult. So I try to gently scoop her into my arms and carry her. She’s 18+ pounds. Carrying her is work, but she’s an old lady and if I don’t carry her, she just lays down in the sand; dragging her thru the sand is not what I want to do.

Late in our walk this morning, Mr. Fun & I took a detour to a cool shady place with Chloe & Mitzi to enjoy brunch. Lunada Garden Bistro was a lovely spot for a delicious meal. The garden is beautiful. We found a table in a corner with solid shade. The pups loved it.

Chloe rarely gets tired, but Mitzi does and then she adds to the silhouette.
