There were fewer beesties requiring rescue form the elderberries during the processing, unlike last year. I tipped four spiders and a tiny looper caterpillar into the garden before this caterpillar emerged.
I saw it move initially, though it now seems to be playing dead so have tucked it up with a few berries in case it turns out to be another Lazarus.
At least I might be able to determine which end is head and which is tail.
