First frost

Another still and sunny morning with frost on the playing field which is become more visible through the trees as they start to shed their leaves. There was still dew around when I went for a short walk just before lunch as the drops on the leaves of this red clover show.
Email confirming my walking weekend in Northumberland will go ahead, and please would I download the NHS COVID app. I downloaded Test and Protect several days ago. The situation on student restrictions is escalating and now Children and Young People’s Commisioner Scotland is raising human rights implications. What a conundrum to have to manage and lead.
Tomorrow will be another day and we have Islay dog coming first thing. I’m hoping she will be wanting to watch The Great British Bake Off on catch up, a pretty reliable antidote to life as we know it right now.
