Top-down Cardigan
I have spent a lot of today knitting. Firstly my temperate blanket is up-to-date, including the green row today, which indicates that it is getting colder. I suspect I will not need orange and red yarn again this year, but hopefully there might we the odd warmer day, depicted by yellow.
Today’s picture is a “top-down” cardigan in red that I finished knitting today. It is called a “top-down” cardigan as it is knitting from the top with no seams to sew up; just two ends to darn in. It needs buttons, washing and buttons before it sent to its final charity destination; I still have to knit a hat to match.
The temperature today was fifteen degrees Celsius at GMT noon. Some early morning sunshine followed by grey skies and rain.
