Dark day

A dark brooding sky all day, though in the end it didnt rain. 

The news isnt very cheerful with the number of Covid 19 cases rising.. ( or is this simply because the number of people  being tested has increased?) Whatever, we are resigned to things not getting better for a while.  I am glad I got the chance to meet up with my brothers this month. It may be a while before we can meet up again.

Our friend is up in Cumbria  and hoping to meet for lunch next week. ( subject to the bathroom being finished ) Oscars seemed well organised re Covid precautions but M is feeling cautious. 

 The bathroom is taking shape. The units with sink and loo are fitted and working.  They men seem efficient although it is taking longer than we thought but better that they take the time and do a good job .

Nice to escape for a walk with Fletch. Poor chap was worn out after his second walk today, but because of all the comings and goings with the fitters hes not getting his usual mid day naps.

A parcel of yarn arrived today with the rainbow colours I ordered. My sis in law asked if I'd knit her a rainbow jumper. The colours seem very bright but nice and cheerful
