A boat ride to Bagan

Off too Bagan by boat, together with the locals. A nice way of interacting with the locals. At 5 in the morning we left Mandalay on the slow boat to Bagan. Together with 15 other tourists and dozens of locals transporting their goods.
After a few hours we got stuck on a sand bank and these two boats tried to get us out , unsuccessfully. An hour later a big tourist boat passed and decided to help. They were able to drag us out of the sand bank so we could go on with our journey.
