On the fence

This painting of blue wrens and banksias is on an old paling fence on the busy main road between Bowral and Moss Vale. It lifts your spirits on an otherwise drab and neglected stretch of road.
 
A generous gesture on the part of the owners of the house. They could, after all, have painted the inside of the fence, where only they could enjoy it. Or perhaps the other side of the fence is painted too?
