Daphne in Dappled Daylight
While I was shooting a pair of swans on a lake, a crane family of four was behind me on a hill. When the swans drifted into the shade, I shifted over to the cranes.
It was quite a drama. The dad (or mom?) of this youngster was sneaking up on two elderly fishermen, who had laid out a breakfast spread on a picnic table. He/she was scarfing down a donut when the two men finally noticed. As I tried not to snicker, the Lord's name was used in vain, and they jumped up and shooed the crane away. I asked if I could have the rest of the donut (not really.)
In the extras is a shot of the sunrise, right before the dastardly donut deed happened.
