Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is popular in Thailand too. It's definitely one of the newer holidays and has 100% been imported from the western culture influence. But people still enjoy getting and giving flowers, cards, or little candies. I try to make it more of a "you're special to me" day for friends.

With a lot of my students being in university, they are in that unsure, finding themselves phase of life. I try to remind them regularly that they are special and loved just as they are. They don't have to have white skin, a pointy nose, or speak perfect English. They are beautiful just as God created them.
