David Stirling

En route to Falkirk today to see the wheel and the Kelpies we drove past this memorial to David Stirling. On the way back we stopped to pay homage. It was stunning and what a view he has. For those who don’t know he founded the SAS.

The kelpies were every bit as amazing as I expected them to be. Just stunning, and the wheel is a triumph of engineering.

To top a great day off the light on the hills above the caravan park was beautiful when we got back.
