Ups and downs

Pastries and chat with V this morning trying to think of alternatives to us both being banished back home and going batty....! We came up with some good ideas and definitely both felt better, and as the day went on it became clear that we are likely to be able to find a way through - phew!
Quiet but productive day and got back on top of the email mountain as well as feeling better about how the teaching is panning out in various parts. 
Home in time to say goodbye to K&D, have some supper and then head down town to have my hair cut. How can it possibly be sunset this early?! Much happier with it this time - starting to feel like it's arrived at the right length rather than being on the way to who knew what. Nice chats as usual with R although sorry to hear his partner's been made redundant after 21 years with the same company. Tough times.
