Day trip to Glasgow
Young Phin coped better last night and was delighted to see me just before 7. He’s quite sleepy in the mornings so after a quick trip outside he fell asleep in my arms until breakfast time.
I suspect the grass, twigs and wee bits of rough mud he eats in the garden are upsetting his tummy a wee bit as we’ve seen pink streaks in his poop a couple of times. Phoned the vets who have advised keeping an eye on his till Friday and to call back if we’re still seeing it.
Miss PHL and I headed through to Glasgow to suss our where she might like to live assuming her course (starting 6th October) has face to face content. They have an induction meeting next week and have been asked fir their thoughts on the proposed timetable. If she only needs to be there one or at most 2 days a week then commenting may be the best option. I suspect the puppy is a major factor in her decision to want to stay home for the moment!
We’ve narrowed down the likely areas as around Garnethill (near Charing Cross) or just over the M8 around the Mitchell library so it was a good decision to go through. Also managed to fit in a wee bit of shopping as Miss PHL likes Victoria’s Secret. I took a few shots and couldn’t choose so hope you enjoy the collage.
Home via Costco to return the trousers Miss PHL bought the other day and left with the jacket she didn’t buy as it was too expensive but was now reduced by £10 so much better value.
As we’d had brunch at the delicious Singl End, we were still full so didn’t have the planned dinner and shared a takeaway pizza instead.
Phin is sparked out on the sofa after his busy day and I’m glad as he is chewing everything in sight. We’ve ordered an olive wood chew toy (thanks for the tip RedFlash) which should arrive tomorrow so I hope the helps!
