Chobham Common - After the Fire

There was a large fire on Chobham Common in August which burn for several days affecting some 500 hectacres. The area is now beginning to recover. The ferns have regrown and are now a bright green colour. The trees, many blackened and with scorched brown leaves, are thankfully also showing signs of recovery with new growth appearing.
