Wishes do come true

I’ve been incredibly lucky that my annual trips to Iona in May have always been full of sunshine and good weather. And I’d always rather wanted a day of fabulous wind and rain and a blustery day to experience that here. Today I got wish, 49km/hr winds and an 18 hour power cut :) A camping gas stove provided tea and hot soup, and luckily the power was back on when I came back drenched and happy after a walk on the wild side for a hot bath.
