Door's Open

Just before 07:00 I opened the storm door and the front door. This allowed our younger son to come in to leave all the equipment we need to look after our younger granddaughter for the day. Meanwhile I carried her in from the car to minimise contact. Informal childcare by grandparents is still allowed thank goodness and exemptions to the 'no household mixing' are in place for this and in the case of extended households. So for us, although we will be more curtailed, it's not that different. And anyway we just have to get on with it.

I'm about to have a very busy day of childminding, yoga and a zoom meeting this evening. No time for better blips or indeed visiting journals.
