Above Diamond Lake

We did a fairly steep walk today.  Having fortified ourselves with a coffee and a shared cheese scone we started our walk at the Diamond Lake Track and walked up to the Lake Wanaka lookout point.  Lots of steep steps that, in many cases, were puddles due to yesterday’s rain.  The track was fairly washed out in places.  The view from the top was worth it.  Three extras  from up there as we don’t do this walk very often!
