Bright Eye(s)

M has rigged up a bird feeder with our step ladder, so that snow doesn't fall into the bowl of worms. I sat in the conservatory, freezing even with the door closed, trying to get a blip of our robin.

Then this blackbird came along and made me laugh trying to get up on the step. He managed in the end and brazenly stood there until he'd finished off the worms - which meant I had plenty of chance not only to blip him (through the glass - sorry! I know it's lack of dedication), but to enjoy his antics as well.

First Lent act of generosity was to PREPARE to be generous, so L gave me the great idea of getting a Costa voucher to give to someone I want to bless. Job done - it's in my coat pocket, ready...
