2020 Monday — Last Day of Summer

The sights and sounds we experienced on this final day of summer.

Mr. Fun (Tom) & I pulled on our sweatshirts, hooked leashes to harnesses and headed for the sand.

This is it! We are at the intersection of summer and fall.

Our soup chef Stephanie wrote about the uniqueness of this season on the Central Coast, “When I head out on a long bike ride this time of year, I dip in and out of our miraculous microclimates and the environment will ‘feel’ like summer and then suddenly ‘feel’ like fall all within a few minutes. I call this unique phenomenon, ‘flummer’.”
